Mar John Church
The Arsuz Mar Yuhanna Church is one of the few Christian places of worship notable for its historical and cultural significance. During the restoration process, the church's weathered stone walls were meticulously cleaned and restored to their original state. The icons and frescoes inside the interior were meticulously restored by experts, preserving their artistic and religious value. Furthermore, important elements of the church, such as the wooden furniture and altar, were restored, restoring them to their former glory. Along with landscaping, the churchyard and courtyard were also renovated, making them more accessible to visitors. These restorations brought the Mar Yuhanna Church back to life, both for religious purposes and to preserve its cultural heritage.
